Day 4. Castrojeriz to Formista.

Only 25km walk today but it started with a beast of a hill. 12% gradient for over 1km. As we got to the top it started to get light so we could see back down to the lights of the village. From then on it was a relatively flat walk, passing through a couple of sleepy villages, through the farmland, along a canal until Formista. Decent sized village and booked into the municipal hostel. Usual routine of shower, blister management (thank God for Compeed) nap, hopefully find a pilgrim Mass and then food before bed. Getting into the routine and good pace on the road. Plenty of time and quiet to think and pray. After only a few days the busyness of life starts to melt away. Another two weeks of this and reentry could be difficult!
