In late November, our parish primary school, Sacred Heart, had their Diocesan Canonical Inspection. They were visited by two inspectors who spent the day inspecting the quality of Religious Education, Collective Worship and Catholic Life. The judgments categories are Outstanding, Good, Requires Improvement and Inadequate. Overall the school was judged to be GOOD – with Catholic Life being judged OUTSTANDING. RE and Collective Worship were judged to be GOOD. This is a great result for Mrs Taylor, her staff and the children, parents and governors – so well done to them for all their hard work to make our school a great place for our children to learn and grow in their faith. The full report is available above to download.
