The Department for Christian Life and Worship of the Bishop’s Conference of England and Wales have issued a document called ‘The Place of Silence’. 
It looks at the importance of silence in our prayer and worship and is well worth a read. It is only 8 pages and would be a great accompaniment for our Advent journey.
