Bishop’s Letter for Lent

You will find here a pastoral letter for Lent from Bishop Patrick. It will be read out on the 3/4th March and asks us to think about how we are disciples of Jesus - how do we spend time in prayer, in being Christ to the world, sharing His compassion, love and mercy .... and how we turn to Christ for forgiveness when we do wrong. To be a disciple is to grow in holiness ... to open our heart to God our loving Father and to live in the power of the Spirit. Bishop's Pastoral Letter for Lent -

Our Lady & St Edward’s Parish Bulletin

We are working more and more with our neighbouring parish of Our Lady & St Edward's in St Anns. We are only 1 1/2 miles from each other and Frs Joe, Paul and Jonathan are supporting each other and working together on various things to bring us together as two parishes. We already jointly employ an Adult Formation Coordinator, do our Baptism preparation together and run the RCIA for adult wanting to learn more about their faith. We will publish each other's Parish Bulletins each week so if there isn't a Mass at Sacred Heart, people can always go up
