Great food, scorching sun, superb company ….. what more could we have asked for. The first Parish Ministry Party, held last Sunday afternoon, was a fantastic afternoon of celebrating the commitment of so many people to all the different ministries in the parish. Over 120 people came, with another 60 or so giving their apologies. This was a way of the parish saying ‘Thank You’ to all who give their time and effort to help our parish function and flourish. The Hog Roast went down a treat – salads, drinks and cake helped fill any remaining holes – and it was lovely to see so many people mingling and enjoying each others company. Thanks to Ann Oliphant and Joe McCay for helping get things organised and to everyone for coming along.
