Visit to Mary Potter Heritage Centre

On Monday 14th November, a group of parishioners gathered at 32 Regent Street in the City Centre for a visit to the Mary Potter Heritage Centre. mary-potter-460x276

Established by the Little Company of Mary, the order Mary Potter founded, the centre takes the visitor through the life and work of this most important saint of our city; she even has one of Nottingham’s trams named after her!

If you want to learn more about this amazing woman check out http://www.lcmsisters.org.uk/HeritageCentre.htm

As well as the Heritage Centre providing a focus for our memory of this saint, Mary Potter is laid to rest in a tomb in St Barnabas Cathedral.

Many thank to the Sisters and the Associates for guiding us round the Heritage Centre.
